The value of life.

Life is too precious to be thrown away. You have to have the will to survive if you want to keep this life or you can accept your fate and stare death in the face until he claims you.

When the Titanic sunk, there were people onboard, I'm sure, that fought for their lives. Scrambled to get to the lifeboats and whatnot. But there were others who just accepted they were going to die and spent their last moments with their loved ones, if they were onboard, and died in peace.

In The Call of the Wild, there were some dogs that valued life and others that could care less. A dog named Spitz, for example, killed and threw life away mercilessly. He killed for pleasure instead of survival. Another dog, named Buck, killed also. But when he did, it was for his survival or for the betterment of the pack. He valued his own life and the life of his friends.

When you think you are going to die, answer this question. Did your life have meaning and would you have the will to fight for it and survive, or just accept death? Ferine
